Common questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Is AcademyApp free for wrestling clubs?+
Yes. Up to 20 wrestlers, all features, free forever. No credit card required.
How does weight class tracking work?+
Store each athlete's current weight class and log bodyweight over time. Useful for monitoring athletes approaching a weight class boundary before competitions.
Does it work for both freestyle and Greco-Roman programmes?+
Yes. Create separate session types and programmes for each style. Athletes can be enrolled in both. Coaches manage their specific programme independently.
Does it handle British Wrestling affiliated clubs?+
Yes. Record your British Wrestling affiliation. Track athlete registration and competition eligibility against the governing body's age and weight category rules.
Can I manage junior and senior wrestlers in the same club?+
Yes. Create separate session types per age group — Juniors, Cadets, Seniors — with different pricing, content and communication. Parents of juniors have their own account view.
How do I handle competition entries and travel consent for juniors?+
Create each competition as a bookable event. Parents receive entry details, consent prompts and payment requests automatically. All consent records are stored per student.
